Business English exams to be phased out
The Cambridge Business English (BEC) exams will be discontinued by the University of Cambridge globally.
Dear Students,
We would like to inform you about the fact that the University of Cambridge (UK) is going to phase out the Business English exams by the end of 2023. You can get an overview of our Business English exam dates in 2023 here. However, your certificate will remain valid, you can still use it for its intended purposes.
But don’t worry, we have the next generation BEC: the new Linguaskill Business. Linguaskill is a modular online test with Reading & Listening (combined), Writing and Speaking. The recognition is continuously growing and more and more institutions are accepting the Linguaskill test as a proof of English skills. Results are provided within 2 working days.
Alternative recommended replacements are the B2 First and C1 Advanced (general English) exams which cover a wider range of skills, including grammar.
We will continue offering our Business English courses, with new materials and some new content. You will find our available course dates in our course schedule. In addition to that we will provide transition training for those who have taken a business course and wish to take a General English Cambridge exam.
Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!
