Liability for Content
As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages in accordance with the general laws. However, as a service provider, we are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected by this. However, liability in this respect is only possible from the time of knowledge of a specific infringement. Upon becoming aware of such infringements, we will remove the relevant content without undue delay.
Liability for Links
Our website contains links to external third-party websites over whose content we have no control. We therefore cannot assume any liability for such external content. The respective provider or operator of the linked pages is always responsible for the content of those pages. The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time the links were created. No unlawful content was identifiable at the time of linking. However, permanent monitoring of the content of linked pages is not reasonable without concrete indications of a legal infringement. Upon becoming aware of any legal infringements, we will remove such links without undue delay.
Copyright
The content and works created by the website operators on these pages are subject to Austrian copyright law. Should you nevertheless become aware of a copyright infringement, we kindly request that you notify us accordingly. Upon becoming aware of any legal infringements, we will remove such content without undue delay.

Data Privacy Policy
1. Data Protection at a Glance
General Information
The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data means any data by which you can be personally identified. For detailed information on the subject of data protection, please refer to our Privacy Policy set out below this text.
Data Collection on Our Website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. The operator’s contact details can be found in the legal notice further up on this website.
How do we collect your data?
On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us. This may, for example, include data that you enter into a contact form. Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This primarily includes technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page access). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.
What do we use your data for?
Some of the data is collected to ensure that the website is provided without errors. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right at any time to receive, free of charge, information about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request rectification, restriction of processing or erasure of such data. You may contact us at any time using the contact details provided in the legal notice if you have any questions on this subject or on data protection in general. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, the competent supervisory authority is the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
Analytics Tools and Third-Party Tools
We use web analytics to compile statistics on the use of our website. These statistics are important to us in order to continuously improve our online presence and our content. Google Analytics (GA4) and Plausible are used for this analysis.
2. General Information and Mandatory Information
Data Protection
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the applicable statutory data protection provisions and this Privacy Policy.
When you use this website, various personal data is collected. Personal data means data by which you can be personally identified. This Privacy Policy explains which data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.
Please note that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. in email communication) may have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Withdrawal of Your Consent to Data Processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You may withdraw any consent you have already given at any time. An informal notification by email to us is sufficient for this purpose. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority
In the event of infringements of data protection law, the data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority for data protection matters in Austria is the Austrian Data Protection Authority. https://www.dsb.gv.at/
Right to Data Portability
You have the right to receive the data which we process by automated means on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract, either yourself or to have it transmitted to a third party, in a commonly used, machine-readable format. Where you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.
SSL and TLS Encryption
For security reasons and in order to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the website operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address line changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Access, Restriction and Erasure
Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain, free of charge, information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing, and, where applicable, a right to rectification, restriction of processing or erasure of such data. You may contact us at any time at the address stated in the legal notice if you have any further questions on the subject of personal data.
Objection to Promotional Emails
The use of contact data published within the scope of the legal notice obligation for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information material is hereby objected to. The operators of the website expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example by means of spam emails.
3. Data Collection on Our Website
Consent Management
When you first visit our website, you may use our cookie banner to choose whether you wish to consent to the use of optional cookies and analytics technologies. You may change or withdraw your choice at any time via the cookie settings.
Obligation to Provide Data
Unless otherwise specified in the respective forms, the provision of personal data is neither legally nor contractually required. However, certain information may be necessary in order to process your enquiry or to initiate or perform a contract. Without such data, processing may in some cases not be possible or may only be possible to a limited extent. This applies in particular to online bookable services such as Cambridge English examinations, IELTS examinations, English courses or other services offered by the website operator.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and contain certain information.
We distinguish between:
- technically necessary cookies, which are required for the operation of the website and its basic functions, and
- optional cookies, in particular for statistical and analytical purposes.
We use technically necessary cookies on the basis of our legitimate interest in the secure and functional provision of the website pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We use statistical and analytical cookies only with your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw or amend your consent at any time with future effect via our cookie banner or the cookie settings.
You may also configure your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies, allow cookies only in individual cases, or exclude cookies generally. Disabling technically necessary cookies may limit the functionality of the website.
Server Log Files
The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- browser type and browser version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
- hostname of the accessing computer
- time of the server request
- IP address
Processing is carried out in order to ensure the technical security, stability and functionality of the website on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Contact Form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent.
The data entered into the contact form is therefore processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw this consent at any time. An informal notification by email to us is sufficient for this purpose. The lawfulness of the data processing operations carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
The data you enter into the contact form will remain with us until you request us to erase it, withdraw your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions, in particular retention periods, remain unaffected.

Data protection is of the highest priority for us, which is why we rely on the analytics tool Plausible. Unlike other trackers such as Google Analytics, Plausible deliberately dispenses with the use of cookies and does not store any personal data, neither in the browser nor on Plausible’s servers. Only general data is analysed, such as pages accessed, browsers and devices used, and traffic sources. A complete overview of the data collected can be found in Plausible’s data policy. Provider: OÜ Plausible Insights, Västriku tn 2, Tartu 50403, Estonia.
Google Analytics
Provided that you have given your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 on this website, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
The information collected by Google Analytics may be transmitted to Google servers and processed there. In this context, personal data may also be transferred to companies of the Google group in third countries, in particular the United States.
We use Google Analytics only where consent has been activated via our consent tool. You may withdraw or amend your consent at any time with future effect via the cookie settings.
Further information on data processing by Google can be found in Google’s privacy notices.

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on our website, we require an email address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the holder of the email address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected, or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.
The data entered into the newsletter subscription form is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw the consent given to the storage of the data, the email address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The lawfulness of any data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
The data you have provided to us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted after cancellation of the newsletter subscription. Any such transfer shall take place only insofar as the statutory requirements are met. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards within the meaning of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.
