    Hello!

    Do you have experience in a customer-centric role, are able to carry out administration tasks with accuracy, and have a friendly and approachable manner? If you can communicate clearly in both German and English, are reliable and, above all, enjoy serving customers, then we have the job for you!

    This is a role for 25-30 hours per week.

    A diverse range of tasks awaits you:

    • You will be the central point of contact for our customers in all booking processes and other support matters, as well as the liaison to the teaching team and will support them in administrative tasks.
    • Administrative tasks include, for example: booking appointments for customers, coordinating course dates, conducting introductory lessons for new course participants, issuing documents such as invoices or confirmations, reordering office supplies, and much more.
    • You will also be part of the supervisor team for the Cambridge language exams and will accompany the participants on their exam day at our institute.
    • Ongoing contact with customers is of particular importance and you will be the interface to our customer advisors and teachers. Contact with customers takes place in person as well as by phone and email. Our students and employees come from all over the world, so clear and accurate communication is essential.

    Requirements:

    • German and English to at least C1 level
    • Able to multitask and quickly learn new processes
    • High attention to detail, motivated and communicative
    • Experience in dealing with customers (preferred)
    • Very good MS Office skills
    • Able to work flexible hours (our opening hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., Sat 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., changing shifts)

    We hire people based on their skills, attitude and experience. We also look to hire people with less experience, who are looking to build up their experience in a professional environment, however we do not offer a formal training scheme.

    According to the collective agreement, the salary is EUR 2.458,52 gross on a full-time basis.

    Hello!

    Let us know if you’re interested in a mid or long-term teaching post at The Cambridge Institute! We do not have any vacancies right now, however, this might change and if we have your CV on file, we will get back to you once a suitable position opens up.

    All our teachers are employed with flexible hours, meaning they receive all the benefits that come with an employment position, but still have high flexibility in terms of working hours. We are usually looking for teachers who can work in the mornings and evenings, as 9 am-12 am and 5 pm - 9 pm is when most of our students want to have classes. We generally hire teachers with both full and part-time availability.

    Requirements:

    • English native speaker
    • CELTA, DELTA, TEFL or equivalent qualification
    • Valid working permit / visa for Austria
    • Teaching background / experience (preferred)
    • Professional and communicative attitude
    • Degree or equivalent qualification (preferred)
    • Knowledge of CEFR levels (preferred)
    • Knowledge and experience with Cambridge English Exam preparation (preferred)
    • Experience teaching students of all levels from true beginners to near-native speakers (preferred)
    • Willing to teach in-company
