- **Need a break?**: You would like to take a break due to a business trip, holiday or illness? No problem! Just let us know the duration of your absence and we will extend your course time accordingly. This way, you won't miss a single bit of your training!
- **As often as you like!**: As children, we learn our mother tongue by constantly repeating what has been said. We replicate this in our Cambridge Learning System, as you can repeat any Multimedia Lessons as often as you want!

## Structure of a Unit

Each unit consists of **Multimedia Lessons** and **Teacher Lessons** and allows you to attend additional **Club Activities**.

In the Multimedia Lessons, you work interactively on all four language skills on the computer and prepare for a Teacher Lesson led by one of our native speaker trainers. By attending Club Activities, you can also focus on areas of your choice, such as grammar, or learn about the differences between British and American English.

Our Unit system allows you to learn flexibly and individually, online or at our institute, within a didactically reasonable framework.

 Learning success guaranteed!

## Structure of a Unit

Our units are made up of the following three components:

### Teacher Lesson

In a small group (the average group is less than 2 people), you will deepen the content of the Multimedia Lesson and will be taught further by a native speaker. Since all learners in a Teacher Lesson have completed the same Multimedia Lessons in advance, they all have approximately the same level of knowledge, which makes the lessons particularly efficient and effective!

You are in the best of hands: **All our teachers are English native speakers**, have **several years of teaching experience**, as well as a solid **pedagogical education**.

- 3 hours
- Institute | Online
- Live with native English speaking teacher

This is how learning English becomes an experience!

### Multimedia Lesson

In the Multimedia Lessons you will be trained interactively and continuously **in all four language functions (reading, writing, listening and speaking)**. Practical application, grammar, vocabulary including pronunciation, tenses and the content of the upcoming Teacher Lesson are combined. In this way you will be well prepared for the next part, the Teacher Lesson itself.

You work individually on the computer - **at your own pace, at your preferred times**!

- 8-12 hours
- Online
- Homework

Multimedia Lesson

### Club Activity

You can also attend up to 3 Club Activities per Teacher Lesson, for a total of **up to 9 additional lessons with a teacher per Unit**. Club Activities are held in small groups of 8 students max. and focus on specific topics such as grammar, conversation or business English.

The attendance at Club Activities is included in the price of the course!

- 9 hours
- Institute | Online
- Voluntary exercises with native English speaking teacher in groups

Practice and have fun!

## Private Lessons

Do you have **limited time to study English** or a **very specific topic to cover**? Then Private Lessons are just right for you! Whether online or in our office - Private Lessons are individually tailored to you and your needs and offer you **complete flexibility in terms of time and content**.

Whether it's preparation for tests such as IELTS or TOEFL, tutoring or English for specific professions - the following examples show what can be covered in Private Lessons:

### IELTS & TOEFL

_test preparation, precisely tailored to your needs_

We prepare you for your **IELTS** or **TOEFL** test!

Our native English speaking teachers are experts in preparing for IELTS and TOEFL tests, which are often required for admission to universities or by immigration authorities.

Starting from your individual starting level, our trainers work on all language skills with general as well as test-specific practice formats in the one-to-one lessons and thus bring you to your goal: achieving a specific IELTS or TOEFL test score.

Practice materials and regular homework corrections as well as our Club Activities for additional training are of course part of the Private Lessons.

**How can you get started?**

Call us on 01/59 56 111 to arrange a free placement test followed by a consultation and also **bring the required score (IETLS/TOEFL score) with you for this appointment! This way we can determine the exact number of hours needed for preparation and provide you with a concrete offer.**

### Legal English

_for prospective and practising lawyers_

In legal matters, it is often only a small word that makes a big difference. Adequate language skills are therefore of the utmost importance **for prospective and practising lawyers** in order to be able to work professionally.

Whether you want to improve your **legal English** in general or work on a specific case or document in English, our native speaker teachers have experience in the legal field and can help you deal with English-speaking clients or international legal cases. _You can rely on us to act with discretion at all times._

Just give us a ring on 01/59 56 111 and make an appointment with one of our consultants.

### „Tutoring“ for students

_thorough language development instead of short-term tutoring._

We help you **eliminate any gaps** and prepare you for examinations!

Most learning issues are due to the learning history and the particular structures of the school system and not to the inability of the students. Of course everyone has different talents, but **EVERYONE CAN learn English.**

We will figure out, in detail, where your shortcomings lie and create an individual plan to eliminate them. Often these requests are accompanied by time pressure, therefore it’s worth seeking professional advice at an early stage. During the consultation, we will systematically assess your particular situation and create a target-oriented programme enabling you to achieve your goals. Our **native English speaking teachers** will support you with the implementation of the agreed upon schedule and adapt it in respect to your individual learning progress.

**How can you get started?**

Just give us a ring on 01/59 56 111 and make an appointment with one of our consultants. **If you’re under 18, we recommend a parent or guardian attends with you, in order to also discuss fees.**

### Medical English

_for prospective or already practising medical professionals_

**We can help you improve your professional medical language!**

As a medical professional, you are routinely communicating with your patients and colleagues. But structured English learning - well, it's been a while. Does that sometimes hold you back you from expressing yourself professionally in English?

Then maybe the combination of a general refresher on language structures and vocabulary combined with professional medical English content and topics is just the right thing for you!

Our native English speaking teachers - in this case with a special affinity for medical topics and even experience in that field - will help you to optimise your English so that you will feel much more comfortable using English in the future, be it in your day-to-day communication with patients or when attending seminars and congresses where English is spoken.

**How can you get started?**

Call us on 01/59 56 111 to make an appointment for a free and non-committal placement test and consultation.

### Aviation English

_for practising pilots, future pilots & air traffic controllers_

In this course, we prepare you for the requirements of daily life as a pilot or air traffic controller in a practice-oriented class.

Furthermore, the course includes preparation for one of the **ICAO Language Proficiency Levels 4 to 6.** Depending on personal requirements, the lessons are booked flexibly to ensure optimal learning progress. If required, the lessons can also be adapted to the learning curve on the part of the general training for pilots or air traffic controllers. **The following criteria are tested at the ICAO LP and are therefore covered in the lessons:**

Pronunciation
Structure
Understanding in conversation
Behaviour in conversation
Fluency
Vocabulary
Language development up to ICAO exam level with native speakers and software support **How can you get started?**

Call us on 01/ 59 56 111 to arrange a personal consultation. **Please note that The Cambridge Institute does not administer ICAO exams.** Click here for more information on the exam:
